New Diesel Legislation – Fuel Quality Directive
Legislation (EU Directive 2009/30/EC will be introduced on the 1st January 2011 which requires that all gas oil (red diesel) used for inland recreational craft should contain no more that 10 milligrams of sulphur per kilogram of fuel (virtually sulphur free).

THE YACHT HARBOUR ASSOCIATION - CODE OF PRACTICE

The most important document which is produced by TYHA is the Code of Practice for the Construction and Operation of Marinas and Yacht Harbours.

This document has been re-written and updated for 2007 and is approved by the Office of Fair Trading. The 2007 document now available is a set of recommendations covering every aspect of marina construction and operation, which include:
