The British Marine Federation (BMF), in conjunction with the Yacht Harbour Association, presents the internationally renowned Advanced Marina Management School.
The Yacht Harbour Association is pleased to announce that its Gold Anchor Award Scheme is running well with re-inspections totally up to date and new applications coming in from various areas of the industry.
We are delighted to announce that since December, Quay Marinas Ltd have come on board with all their marinas:
Royal Quays Marina - North Shields; Conwy Quays Marina - Gwynedd; Penarth Quays Marina - Glamorgan all achieving Five Gold Anchors, and Portishead Quays Marina - Somerset achieving Four Gold Anchors.
Also, we have recently assessed two marinas in Holland - Jachthaven Naarden achieving Four Gold Anchors and De Brink Watersports achieving Five Gold Anchors. Not forgetting Marmaris Yacht Marina in Turkey who has very recently achieved Five Gold Anchors in our Scheme.
Currently, the TYHA Management Council is having a debate on the question of making the Scheme more consumer orientated.
